A Legacy of Sound
Director: Anne-Marie Michel
United Kingdom, United States, 8min
In A Legacy of Sound, a filmmaker turns the lens on her 95-year-old great uncle, an elderly Englishman determined to leave something meaningful behind. Sparked by a friend’s quiet regret, he begins a deeply personal journey through memory, faith, and sound. As his vision unfolds, the film becomes an intimate meditation on legacy and the invisible threads that connect generations—inviting us to listen closely to what we leave behind and what truly endures.

BROKEN WINGS: EVERY 10 MINUTES
Director: Manuel Hernandez
United States, 10min
“Broken Wings: Every 10 Minutes” is a powerful short documentary exposing the devastating statistics of child sexual abuse through the real-life story of Yanet Pájaro, survivor, activist, and executive producer of the film. Her voice, together with the direction of Manuel Hernández—also a survivor—shapes a work that does not seek to entertain, but to awaken and mobilize.
Alongside them, journalist and executive producer Desirée Colomina brought a strategic, evidence-based journalistic perspective, incorporating verified data, real illustrations made by child survivors, and a timer that reminds viewers how many children are abused as the story unfolds.
It’s not just a story—it’s an urgent call, backed by evidence, art, and conscience.

Eight-two year old mensch, Ted Grossman, has been wooing Miami audiences with his velvet voice, on Sunday evenings on his WLRN radio program, Night Train, for 47 years. Now at the end of his reign, Ted reveals the secrets to contentment, if you can get a word in. He and his boisterous gang defy stereotypes and exemplify true community at any age.

Paradise Inside
Director: Raphael Reichl
Austria, 10min
"Paradise Inside" is an intimate portrait of David Jimenez, who has created his own paradise in the middle of a metropolis of millions. Inspired by the ideas of the Anthroposophist Rudolf Steiner, he grows his own vegetables on his so-called floating garden inside Mexico City water forest. The story tells of a young man who battles against all odds when all around him an enormous industrial consumer landscape is clogging up the canals of Xochimilco.

Beneath the Same Sky
Director: Christine Kane
United States, 11min
In the borderlands of El Paso, Texas, Fidel confronts the complex reality of his life as a Border Patrol agent. Finding himself at the edge of two nations, he works to enforce the law while uncovering the human stories behind the headlines—of dreams pursued and lost, hopes carried and shattered.

Entropy
Director: Inuk Jørgensen
Greenland, 10min
The vast Greenlandic ice sheet has been created over thousands of years but today climate change is threatening the close and sacred connection between the land moulded by ice and the Inuit who live there. Told from an Indigenous perspective the film celebrates Greenlandic mythology as much as it laments the nature we are all losing.

Koçer Belgesel Film
Director: Serhat Boylu
Turkey, 15min
"Koçer" follows filmmaker Serhat Boylu on a 10,000-kilometer journey tracing the lives of nomadic Kurdish shepherds. From the mountains of Hakkari to the plains of Van, from the cold of AÄŸrı to the dusty paths of Şırnak, the film captures both the beauty and hardships of nature.
