A 99-year-old woman reflects on the life she built after being abandoned by her son during the Shining Path’s terrorist attacks in Peru. To fulfill a promise of reunion, she has spent decades selling her dreams as stories, hoping they will bring her family back on her 100th birthday. The film is shot in Quechua (also called Runa Simi or "people's language") is an indigenous language family, the most spoken pre-Columbian language in the Americas and in Spanish.
